And some more good results - (1)

Hal heads south a few kilometres...

You will not find a hell of a lot of coverage of The Other Essex Football League Team on giroscope. However I must say a big well done to TOEFLT for beating Corporate Football Mark 1 1-0 in the League Cup last night. It was a goal from Freddy Eastwood (a relative of Clint? He should have gone up to Ferguson and said "Go Ahead Punk"... etc. Actually that sounds more like something that Corporate Football Mark 2's manager would do.) Full details in the match report.

Corporate Football Mark 2 are still in the cup, having killed off Aston Villa 4-0 tonight. Never mind... maybe TOEFLT will be able to take them out too. I sure hope so.

Corporate Football Mark 2 charging £48 (!) for the privilege on Saturday. Here endeth my sixty-game unbroken run... (and many others - at last count, we had 2000 tickets for the away end on general sale - unheard of).

That's a good 33% more than any other club in the top flight thus far. And it goes without saying that even "Normal" is a rip-off. Not sure what Chelsea are trying to do really...

Good question. At my previous workplace we had a guy in his fifties who had been a lifelong Chelsea supporter and he said Chelsea had always been expensive, even back in the 60s. Being a Chelsea supporter was a status symbol to some extent... the Kings Road and all that bollox. Before punk.

F*** £48 for a game of football! I'd rather watch "Deal or No Deal" even. Dunno how much Colchester are this season, the price has gone up but still cheap for Division 2 I think. How much does Watford cost for a game these days?

Varies, dependent on opposition. £20 for Fulham, £35 for Man United and varying points in between thus far. Still extortionate, even if it is the "going rate".

Eventually went to Stamford Bridge, getting in for the much more justifiable price of nothing...
